In theory, 3 wheels or skates is more stable on ice. Jon and I managed to
end up crashing anyway. (I had help, being rammed by a "Yellow Submarine".)

Dave and I ran in a separate "Rubber Only" class, no studs, sandpaper or other traction aids.
We had a ball, with dramatic spinouts at the end of each run. As I write this, in January 2003,
several other trikers are saying they will join us in "Rubber Only" for the 2003 event.

Jon Nygen's Mythos

Dave Krafft's Yellow Submarine won the 2 entry "Rubber" class,
winning the 100m sprints and taking a photo finish in the circuit race.

Mark Stonich ran his "John Deere" in the "Rubber Only" class.
2WD was great for the Drags, but not for the other races.

Mark Stonich's revised (Lower, Lighter, Shorter, Narrower)
Gossamer Walrus, and Aaron Stiles' clone.
