In theory, 3 wheels or skates is more stable on ice. Jon and I managed to end up crashing anyway. (I had help, being rammed by a "Yellow Submarine".)
Dave and I ran in a separate "Rubber Only" class, no studs, sandpaper or other traction aids. |

Jon Nygen's Mythos |
Dave Krafft's Yellow Submarine won the 2 entry "Rubber" class, winning the 100m sprints and taking a photo finish in the circuit race. |
Mark Stonich ran his "John Deere" in the "Rubber Only" class. 2WD was great for the Drags, but not for the other races. |
Mark Stonich's revised (Lower, Lighter, Shorter, Narrower) Gossamer Walrus, and Aaron Stiles' clone. |
